Getting to Zihua
Zihuatanejo is a vibrant small fishing town with amazing food and a laid back vibe. It is located on Mexico’s pacific coast, known as the Costa Grande, about 150 miles northwest of Acapulco. Zihuatanejo has kept its traditional small town feel. Local artisans sell their goods in the main Mercado in the center of town and in quaint shops along the beach front.
Direct flights to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport (ZIH) are available from Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Tijuana, Mexico City, Chicago, Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. If you live in Southern California, there are many affordable flight options via Tijuana Cross Border Express (CBX).

La Villa Luz comes highly recommended from our wedding planner, Jennifer. It is very well-kept and a short 2 minute walk to Playa la Ropa. It is a palapa-style boutique hotel with unique architecture. Its facilities have a large variety of open air areas surrounded by extensive greenery.
Casa del Cielo
Casa del Cielo is an exciting seven room boutique bed and breakfast home overlooking Playa la Ropa. Sleeps fourteen to sixteen guests.
